On December 7th, under the instruction of the Shanghai Communications Administration and the Shanghai Putuo District People’s Government, the 2023 Shanghai Information and Communications Industry Exchange Conference on Elderly-Oriented and Barrier-Free Development took place in Shanghai to support the national strategy to address population aging and promote the elderly-oriented development of digital technology. The event was hosted by the Internet Society of Shanghai and organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). Shao Daoxin, Deputy Director of the Information and Communications Administration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Li Guanyu, Secretary of the CPC Committee of CAICT, and Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Shanghai Communications Administration, among other leaders, attended the conference.

At the conference, the Internet Society of Shanghai announced the top 50 Shanghai Internet companies by comprehensive strength in 2023, which were selected by 14 key indicators across six dimensions – scale, profitability, innovation, growth, risk control and social responsibility.
