A well-known property insurance company in China, and the second joint-stock commercial insurance company established in accordance with the modern enterprise system and international standards. It has been established for more than 30 years and is an insurance company with a long history.
There are more than 1,300 branches nationwide. All branches are divided into 4 levels. The first to third-level branches basically use MPLS for networking. The fourth-level branches use leased lines to connect to nearby core nodes, and some sites establish networking through the Internet.

Challenge

The current MPLS bandwidth cannot meet the fast-growing business needs of the client, and the performance of Internet networking is defective and cannot be interoperable with MPLS. In addition, the surge in operating costs has exceeded the annual budget, and the entire network needs to be rebuilt.
90% of the branches of the client do not have relevant IT personnel, thus the client requires the capability of its service provider to support the network reconstruction nationwide. Due to the limited budget, the reconstruction plan needs to be convenient and flexible.

Solution

SST provides the client with SD-WAN networking reconstruction for its 1300+ branches across the country. Branches located in tier-1 and tier-2 cities are connected through MPLS+Internet, meanwhile branches located in tier-3 and tier-4 cities are connected through single-line or dual-line Internet access. Eventually, SST reduces the operating cost significantly while ensuring the client's normal business.
SST realizes simple and convenient device deployment with not only the support of the remote launch of devices nationwide, but also providing detailed operation manuals and videos.
All devices are in the form of leasing and under SST's O&M, monitoring and management. SST determines device or line faults and reports troubleshooting on behalf of the client.
SST provides unified planning suggestions to the client's national network and achieves centralized management.
